I have heard very few negitive things about the beta. But I will tell you my own opinion either tomorrow or thursday


I have however heard its more like unreal tournament than any kind of realistic game such as americas army or whatever.....

Meh, should be ammazing gfx whatever happens

ok, see? that's what i'm pissed about.. what's all that doom3 looking crap in those last 3 pics cenmocay linked? i don't want to see that in this game.. i want cocain drug-lords ala blow and scarface on some anonymous caribean islands with jungles and guns ala predator (minus the alien). i want something totally different from the other FPSs coming out..

I bet it's some kind of ancient ruins, where ancient civilization plans to take over the world. But these ruins are full of ancient monsters, which were teleported through ancient portal, from ancient hell. Others are just mutants.

Lol, I agree, the thing in this pic (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/screenshots_library/dir_232/vortal_pic_116405.jpg) looks a LOT like the Hell Knight from Doom 3. (http://www.planetdoom.com/images/image.asp?screenshots/official/24l.jpg)

I was looking forward to it having human-only combat too, but monsters won't necessarily make it bad .

Man this game worth playing only in Single mod and only once. I don't like to see a game copy another one (FarCry Development Team is not Creative and they are full of noob desingers)

... ouch, lol. I agree... seriously that totally crushed my feelings towards FarCry when they practically totally f^ckin' ripped those designs off of the Doom III monsters. RIPPERS! BITERS! >__<

Then you discover they were making some sort of secret x-periments in the island, hidden from the world...
Then you fight the monsters and save the world!
