Ohohohoho

This didn't happen to me today, but rather yesturday, but I've been busy/ clubbing/eating/sleeping etc :D

I went into Barclays bank, to talk to them about increasing my student overdraft.

They told me that I had to fill in a form to apply for it, and I asked for it (I already had one at home, I was hoping to be able to talk to someone about it, since I'm generally quite good at getting what I want face-to-face) and the woman handed me this form that looked different. I thought nothing of it.

I looked at it when I was outside.

I was shocked, by mistake, she'd given me the checklist that Barclays go through to approve someone for a student overdraft increase, with a guide on how to treat the answers.

I now know exactly how to fill in the form

Maybe she fancies you....

EDIT: what am I saying? She fancies you.

/me expects a thread by CB with the title "Hey guys, check out my new ride! Rolls Royce ftw :D"

Im confused, why is this so good?

Because he's garaunteed to get the increase.

But Badger, won't this just mean more debt later?

Take a picture...post it here!

Info like this is good to know...as it would most likely apply to other banks as well.

Hmm...or at least post a link to it that you may or may not have taken...I wanna see this dangit!

Yeah, but banks have grad programs so you pay it back over 7 years :)

So it's not crippling.

Why not buy your old pal Kirovman a drink, Mr. Millionnaire?

Upload please? I know a few people who could benifit from it.

QFT, I'm looking forward to a 0% overdraft next year and I could use the form :D

I don't have a scanner/camera :|

I'll see what I can do. Oh, and remember, if you aren't a first year student it's useless to you :)

I went to my bank a month after I graduated, and they said "oh would you like an interest free overdraft?"

I get £2000 overdraft for the 1st year after graduating, £1000 the 2nd year, and £500 the 3rd year.

Not that I'm likely to use it at all.

Kirov, take that money out and whack it in an ISA. Won't cost you anything and you'll generate interest on money that isn't yours :D

i don't know how i failed to foresee a bunch of guys asking for the info

:D

jondy, the ISA trick comes under illegal use of the funds, if you get caught you can be royally ****ed by the banks :)

My two-account trick is legit though :E

(1 building society current account, 2 student accounts)
