Doesn't all this 'subscriber only' defeat the point / purpose of beta's? I mean, you're suppose to test out the bug's in preparation for retail release, not market it as a demo to exclusive membership. :|

Ever since the MMO beta craze I've seen beta releases on games and mods less like testing (come now, who really found a bug) and more than just demo/advertising.

Nonetheless it looks like an interesting game but it's not my thing.

yeah, that coupled with google products and stupid software 'developers' they've managed to kill what early product builds were really about, but thank goodness there are still closed beta tests which have a purpose.

in saying that, like most people, i'm a whore for betas, so if i was a subscriber i'd be all over this.

Rofl, I have been trying to get in for days and it always kept saying to me when i tried to sign up "Sorry all beta slots are currently full"

When I went to go put in my specs I accidently hit "BELOW DX9" instead of 9.0c and it would say all slots are full. When I did 9c it said CONGRATZ you have been accepted. Rofl...

Well, it took me a bit, but i got some screens of it for ya! I cant edit my last post so ill have to double post to show them. They actually look a lot better than this though. Fraps' Jpeg compression destroyed em.

I would bet its not long from now. Usually subscriber only betas are just a month or two before public ones.

An actual demo on the other hand will probably not be until after its release.
