I am doing a small upgrade to my system.

I have this motherboard: Intel® Desktop Board D865PERL: http://intel.com/products/motherboard/d865perl/index.htm

I was just wondering, are the following components going to be compatible with the board?

-Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2000170147+1052308476&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=147

and...

-Processor Fan: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835128010

I can tell the difference between what is good and what is not so good, but not really so good with the socket types, Mghz, and stuff like that.

Please Help! :)

The memory you chose is actually a subcatgory of memory and the processor you chose is actually a heatsink/fan.

As for compatibility it says it on the site.
