Completed HalfLife2, want to erase all chapters...

Hi I just completed Half Life 2, and I want to play the game again.

Although, When I click New Game, I see all the chapters I completed, but I want those chapters to be erased so it forces me to start from chapter 1.

Where can I edit the game files.

er just click the first chapter...it's like your replaying the whole game again.

You progress through the game just as normal.

Only for the hardcore

If you're really hardcore about this, go to your half-life 2\hl2\cfg directory and edit a file called config.cfg. Look for a like that says: sv_unlockedchapters and change the following number to 1. Why you'd want to go through all of this is anybody's guess though....

Maybe he has a friend that wants to play and he doesnt want his friend to be able to skip to the last level ?

The reason I want to erase the chapters is because my friend does not want to see the other chapters.

We are sharing the computer.
