as i was spraying between my CPU Heatsink, i heard some kind of sizzling noise, so i sprayed (its compressed air duster) on the motherboard tray, and it seems to condense, and make a small puddle of liquid. i put my finger in it, it felt wet, and my finger looked wet, however it evaporated, leaving my finger just about frozen, white on the finger tip.

im just a bit paranoid to switch it on once ive attached everything.

i hope everything is safe, and im just being paranoid.

but ive never seen the compressed air condense like that. its just making me a little scared

You didn't spray it on the board or CPU? Should be fine then. If you did, then I'd wait til it dries or dab it so it gets absorbed.

did you have the can upside down while you were spraying it?

that usually makes a puddle of the stuff :p

I say wash it off with some soap and water.....and do it with your PC switched on - it'll dry quicker.

Thats fun to spray at people :D

Its not compressed air its 134 a or simmilar.
It will have all evaporated after a short while and unless you can see damage to the components then it should be ok.

134 a is pretty stable stuff so i doubt its disolved anything but the low temperature it will go down to via boiling could cause thermal damage to components, you know contract a copper connection and destroy it e.t.c that however is very unlikely.

Just turn it on and see what happens, i've done a lot worse and been ok.

the computer cost me a small fortune, i dont want to risk anything, but its probably been a fwe hours ago, so il go and try it now.

and hopefully RAID setup will go smooth :P

I use a good ole 135psi tank of compressed air to clean my pc out :)

the computer seems to be fine, nothing fried so far.

but unfortunately the RAID setup is not going smooth at all.
get the BSoD after the 4th boot floppy, sometimes ntfs.sys is 'corrupt' or or the BSoD saying 'error reading from unbootable drive' or so.

il put this in my "going RAID thread"
