Memory (As in hard disc)- now is always used to refer to the RAM
Blue screen crash- damn i miss those
Boot disc
3 1/2 inch floppy- im glad evryones finally realised theyre ALL that size and knoced of the "3 1/2"
External modem- ahhhh, they where sooooo big

I've not heard anyone refer to the internet as "The information super high-way" or "cyberspace" in a long time. Both names sucked, and if they're thrown around today, it's probably going to be by someone who has no idea what they're talking about.

Actually there used to be a 5.25 floppy and 3.5 floppies were called hard-disks due to their encasing.

i remember when com ports where a big deal.. had to keep them straight when attempting to connect two computers via a serial cable, among other things (the verb 'network' wasn't used back then). 'game ports' are more or less a thing of the past too.

what do you mean you miss the BSOD!! i get the bsod at LEAST 15 times a day, im not joking either. my HDD has a LOT of physical errors. it sucks when im playing a game and im 33 and 2 and i crash i dont wnat to RMA im just waiting till i get an extra $60 and buy a new one.
