:was just looking on gameplay at condition zero and kind had a bit of intresting info
"Includes 20mins of exlusive Half Life 2 footage" makes it remotly worth buying

and it also gives a release date for CZ 18/06/04. was just thinking will they release hl2 before or after cz

i know every one seems to have the wrong release date but still intresting thought :|

The E3 video is precisely 22:40, just checked (I still have all the HL2 videos on my computer, lol)

But, anyway. I have two comments: one, that's probably an old preview, seeing as how they switched developers AGAIN, as well as that boxart (which, I'd asume Gameplay was basing the HL2 footage info on in the preview) is atleast a year old now (well, not quite, but still).

Two, completely unrelated, but.. does the name Condition Zero have ANYTHING to do with the game at this point? I begin to wonder.. lol

i know a cople of people that downloaded the beta of it when it was leaked they said it was total crap. probly why it was delayed hehe trying to make the game good

i hate the way the took bots out of steam so people would buy CZ!

Condition Zero is just a joke now. It's a shame that we'll never see what Ritual had at the end of their involvement... They said the single player campaign was polished. Now I just want to see Half-Life 2, not another version of CS, especially single player with bots. I tired of it a very long time ago, before the 1.5 patch, whenever that was.

It was hilarious to see a whole pile of Prima CS:CZ strategy guides sitting in EB last night. My friend who works there said they've been gathering dust for quite a while. Heh.

According to previews, the Ritual stuff was pants - horribly scripted AI and crap missions.

Anyway, it's been left in the game as "deleted scenes", so you'll be able to judge or yourself.

My god it's bad. I downloaded it and it stopped working past the first level, which by the way SUCKED.

Then I was playing with a bunch of guys at my friends place and reminded me how much it sucked.

The models are terrible....

Basicly:

CS with retarded skins and bots.

Not to mention the fact that the bots run retardedly and headshots don't register/look soooo weird when you shoot them.

You're aware VALVe scrapped that version of CZ in pursuit of a "tony hawk style gameplay" version, whereas you fight bots on the normal set of CS maps, yes?

I wasnt going to buy CZ anyways, it looks like crap and CS is really old now... CZ was just a sub-par sequel made to cash in on the success of the original... kind of ironic isnt it...

Do I need to point out how idiotic this statement is? You downloaded a leaked, unfinished, unoptimised beta and *gasp* it didn't work properly?
