so.. occasionally you may fire your trusted weapon and your dear lifelong buddy (for the past few minutes or so) strolls into your bullet's path. Oh dear. He's dead.

I had my share of TKing... all by accident of course!.. so I figure we can gather around the campfire...and tell tales of how we totally own3d l33t UB3|2 .... our team-mates

I am really, really nervous in game... I'm always twitching around corners.... if my team mates start shooting in my general direction (especially from behind) I always manage to jump, twist, and land a headshot ...or lob a grenade and kill him... too bad we were on the same side... I never am quite as proficient at 3l33ting the enemy as I am my own team

I've also once killed my entire team with a grenade... I threw a grenade, at what I thought was 5 inches above someone's head... the bounding box still was there, it bounced backwards... ouch....

lol yep. The only people I teamkill on purpose are the five year olds relentlessly screeching into their microphones insulting everyone.

I'm also very tense and nervous while playing, so I've had more than my share of around-the-corner-fire-shotgun-oh-shit-sorry-mate-didn't-know-you-were-on-my-team

I shoot anything I see. Most of the people I play with use teamspeak or something similar and keep you constantly updated on where they are, ands what they are doing ie Flanking, camping, freelancing etc

I've had my fair share of T'Killing. I have on a few occasions knifed jackasses in the back too.

Most memoriable moment is tossing a grenade around a corner to where I was told the enemy where.

Me: Gren fired into main corridor.

Me: Then wtf didn't you tell anyone?

Once upon a time there was me playing in css, the map was de_dust2, and I was a terrorist too. Me and some other dude decided to go through short A, you know, the path up the steps to bomb site A. So I was there running with him behind me and I was happily running there looking out for the enemies, and then as I approached the corner I decided it was time to let rip a fb.

So I did. *Bounce* it went off the wall and exploded right were I wanted it. I ran in after to get some target practice, but to my amazement so did a CT, and he started shooting me just behind the boxes. TIME TO GO BACK I think, and reassess the situation, but for some reason I couldnt. No matter how hard I pressed that back button, it just would not go back.

I was standing right there for all CT to see and target, with nothing but going forward into more enemy fire as an alternative.

Then it hits me. "ARGH," I shouted, "WHO THE F*** IS BLOCKING ME!" I turn around quickly, in what seemed like an eternity in enemy fire, only to see bunch of Terrorist, just standing in the corner, waiting for me to die, and this idiot guy standing right behind me.

I thought, perhaps I should tell the guy to move, but alas time was of the essence. My AK ripped his ragdoll ass all over the place.

Reloading, I began regretting my selfish actions. But he deserved it, oh indeedeedoo.

Oh man, I HATE THAT. With the most intense passion known to man, no joke. But I know something worse.

You're firing at an enemy, and some dolt runs in front of your line of fire. He gets cut down, and the enemy shoots you in the head. They bitch at you, saying it was your fault for the TK. Meanwhile, you have to sit out the next round. Argh!

my thoughts:

•*I don't TK as much in CSS and I did in 1.6, mainly because there are only 2 player models, and it is easier to tell in a split second whether or not someone is on your side or enemy. That Castro-lookin' T model in 1.6 always messes me up.

• I've also started looking for servers where TKing is off, because there are so many bad players out there who will run right in front of your line of fire when you're unloading your AK, and THAT is just plain annoying. And like you said Sai Grit, you get blamed for the TKing, even though they were the ones who screwed up...it's rubbish. For some reason, DOD players are better-behaved...

I like to think I'm pretty calm and concise when it comes to CS : although the one TK I always make is throwing a grenade too high and not far enough, running under it, and someone following me goes KABLAMMO
