Confused about Voucher

So i bought a 9800XT way back when it came out and i have this voucher. So when it is loaded onto steam can i just imput the code i got from the voucher into there and i can download CS S without haveing CS CZ or do i need CS CZ too play CS S?

Anyway,
hey slayertime, did you already set up steam with another cd-key(original hl1 key). If so then you need to make another account with your ati voucher. If not then set up your account and input your voucher key and you will be good to go

I've been watching you and your posts. The attitude isn't appreciated by anybody and will probably end up getting you banned. You don't see anybody else acting like you - take that as a hint.

Slayertime - you can input your CD-key right now. Once the game becomes available, just restart Steam. You won't need to have CZ installed to play the beta if you have that voucher.

This is not correct, though it was said with the best of intentions.

In the "Browse games" thingy in Steam, there's an option to "Register a product I already own" as a little button at the bottom of the window. Click on that and enter your voucher keycode. When HL2 is ready to start preloading tomorrow, it will show up in the Coming Soon list. Click to start preloading and you're done. You do not need a new account, and really you shouldn't have two anyway as it makes the baby jeebus cry.

errrrm..........while we are on this thread as it stays open...cough cough..well...errrm..i have an 9800xt radeon 256mb card and i got the voucher. i also have steam. *i dont have any cs though. so how do i go about getting cs source? cant seem to see it anywhere as well. and dont know where to add my voucher key code ... sorry for being a noob on this subject

Open up the main steam menu, click browse games, then click the little button on the lower left part of the window called "Register a product I already own"

Then type the cd-key their and it will register the cdkey then it will ask you if you want the ati bundle that includes all official hl1 mods supported by valve.

Now just wait till CS:s beta is ready to preload...

hmmmmm i am going to get hl2 and cs/source from steam BUT i am soooo going to buy the special eddition as well
