So why exactly does Steam bounce around between downloads? I don't quite understand that. I selected to install almost everything (CS, DoD, Halflife, Opposing Forces) and when I watch the monitor, it'll download one for a little bit then go to another, etc. Sometimes it'll go a bit without downloading anything.
