.. according to a good mate of mine. She knows all about me going to ECTS with Chris and Munro, all about this site etc, she thinks it's cool.

But if she wants to wind me up, she knows just how to do it.. insult you lot :p also, she thinks it embaresses me in front of other people ;( ...


But funnily enough, the people around all started relating stories of internet friendships.. a mate of mine starting going on about him and a good mate of his used to chat loads on email to quite a few people.

Was interesting :) not really a 'stigma' anymore is it.

Pffft, she'll change her mind once I come to her house and dance on the table! Let's see her call me sad then! ;)

Many people seem to only associate the internet with a lack of social activities and skills, while the 'net is actually full of forums and other communicative devices.

This seems to be changing though, which I suppose is good. Now I'm going to watch some tv, which for some reason is a lot more acceptable to society even though it's a lot less social than the net.

I don't know which is more sad, the fact that you are telling your internet friends that they were insulted, or the fact that you care we were insulted.

Heheh, this reminds me of me and one of the poeple I met up here. (Near newcastle)


I started up talkin about HL2. He had heard of that... so I pushed it and by the end of the convosation I found out he used to love mapping for HL and was actually quite tallented at it. Not only that but he knows of most of the funny and "Sad" sites that most of us lot know of... (Posting and you being one of em! :P)

Oh and he isnt your steriotypical geek... Muahahh, he got soo drunk the other night someone found him talking to himself.......



Oh and I wasnt in much good shape either...... :x ;)
 
My friends who aren't computer geeks thinks that its weird that I talk to you all. I just tell them its more social then watching tv. Also you share opinions with other people that your friends don't have.
Try to get your girlfriend to actually go to site. Maybe change her mind.

edit: oh, like i was saying, or something... fancy... i used to HATE that word when i was little... like 4-5 years old, seeing "fancy ketchup" on the little ketchup packets REALLY used to piss me off...
