Recently I had to purchase a new Hard Drive due to the old one nacking up. Now, I've got all my Drivers and XP Updates Installed. But my Modem seem's to have slowed down to the pace of a disabled sloth. Now there's nothing I've done or really noticed that could make it this slow. It took over 4 minutes to fully load this site last night compared to 25 seconds before.
All I've done is Un - Install the QoS Packet, as I did before with it on my old Hard Drive. That never slowed it down, infact it made it faster. The Modem is the brilliantly fast Diamond Supra Express 56e PRO. OS: XP Home 2ghz 512.
Anyone got any idea(s)? Have I got a button somewhere that I haven't pressed?
