console issues, I have an azerty, please help

Hello!

After some minutes of searching, I still haven't found the solution to a very simple noobish problem: I have no console.

I mean that I do have one, but I do not know how to activate it. Normally I should press the "tilde" button on my keyboard, however, since I have an azerty keyboard, I don't have the button. In previous games, the translated the entire azerty keyboard into a qwerty, allowing me to have an invisible, yet present "tilde" button.

I have tried to adjust the config.cfg files, but now I can't even run the game(only changed "tilde" to "²").

Can anyone please tell me what to do?

i changed the config file 2 its not a good idea... it was some userconfig.cfg that u should be editing

why dont youjust get a qwerty?

It's not very usefull for typing a French document
