Don't you get it? All the crappy custom Halo maps will overflood all servers and ultimately kill the game!

Interview with Gabe. The second part - next week.
I agree. In the meantime, consoles will do fine, but once DX10 starts to take hold, getting rid of cap bits and such, and hardware starts to become cheaper to produce (and once low-end hardware starts becoming powerful enough to run bleeding-edge games at over 30fps), PCs will most definitely make a comeback.I've got an idea, how about Console stop trying to be PC's and just die? Thats all consoles are - gimped PC's missing most everything that make PC's great.
Everyone get a ****ing PC instead. That simple. If people change, and stop buying the shit, and buy PC games - together, we could change the world. :sniper:
Imagine there were no consoles. The sun is shining and birds are chirping... er wait, thats a bit thick.
If there were no consoles, then all of the games would be available for the PC. This means they don't have to develop 3 or 4 versions of a game for different systems. They got the job done sooner, the games don't have to be gimped and missing graphic quality, the controlls would be perfect.
Since everyone is on the same platform, you don't have the problem where one friend is playing Xbox mutliplayer, and you are playing PS3 multiplayer of the same game.
Now everyone has a hard drive, everyone has keyboard, mouse, gamepad, whatever input you need is available, and you don't have to buy one for each system.
I could go on forever, but it would be nice if there were no more exclusive games, they all joined hands and made games for the PC damn it.
Nintendo can make interesting peripherals and gameboy to PC attachments, and cool controllers that games can use, Sony can go back to fixing what used to be Everquest and making cool peripherals, and Xbox team can go back to making games and peripherals too.
