Hey, im getting C L pretty soon and I was wondering if they are easy to put in your eye for the first time, one of the opthamalogist's nurses was saying I wouldnt be able to put them in because my eyes are wayy to jumpy.. im just curious if anyone had an involunatry reflex like when something get';s close to your eyes your eye-lids flutter a bit, and if you did, when you got C L did they go in easy? Thanks sorry for typos

Haha, I had a HELL of a time first learning how to take them in and out... and it didn't help that I started out with ****ing GLASS ones! :flame: Turns out my eyes couldn't even handle them since they made my eyes red nearly every day for a whole ****ing year! :flame: Now, I wear soft ones... they work better AND they're comfortable AND easy to get in/out AND if I lose them it's no big deal because you just throw them away after two weeks anyway! (The reason I started out with glass ones is that they were supposedly better for people who have astigmatism, which is what I have... basically, I see fine without contacts, but just not smaller letters and stuff...)

Anyway, yeah, you get used to it... you learn to control that reflex I guess. ;)

Indeed, 'tis very hard the first time. Took me like 10 minutes to get one in :P

But now, I can easily pop them in in 5 seconds without a mirror. So yeah, you get used to them, and yeah you learn to control the blinking reflex after a while :)

Yeah, you get used to it. The first time it took me around 10 minutes to get one eye done, but now I can get them in just fine. The whole 'poking your own eye' thing you have to do takes a little getting used to, but it's no problem after the first couple times.

muahahaahahaha
/me points and laughs at all you glasses/contacts wearing people
