I can't play CS at the moment, steam is updating... i mean doing absolutely nothing at the moment.
Well an idea sprung into my mind, I read some time ago a Dutch ISP was quietly testing a kazaa cache server on their network to offer faster downloads for its memers, and to save on real internet bandwith (which is more expensive in europa compared to usa)
Great idea, but was shut down due to legal issues not long after it was publicly known to be there.
What if the ISP's put up a steam content server only for it's members,
the ISP could use it in commercials to attract gamers, and valve could offer the ISP to sell valve games via steam, giving the ISP some of the profit.
This would make all 3 parties happy (excluding vivendi)
That way i could be playing CS now instead posting stuff on this forum (which became quite boring since valve has STFU about everything)
