Control Panel?

I have this stupid little icon in my Control Panel and I can't figure out how to get rid of it! I've went into regedit and can't find it in there or I didn't see it. I've included a picture, it's the one circled. It says it's a shortcut to my Control Panel. How it got there? I have no clue.

*Note: I'm using Windows XP Pro. SP1

whats the properties of it?, like if u right-click it, what does the link goto?

When I right click on it it gives me two options "open" and "create shortcut". When i create a shortcut and put it on my desktop and click on it it doesn't do anything. When I click on it in the Control Panel it doesn't do anything. I was wrong about it being a shortcut to the Control Panel because when it's on my desktop it doesn't do anything there either. I have no clue what it is or how to get rid of it. It just showed up one day.

probably was made by a program u installed, and but it didnt complete, or was uninstalled, in a "bad" way and just left that there, i wouldnt wry about it, it wont do anything wrong.

Does it show up in TweakUI?

If you don't have TweakUI, you can get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp.

Once installed it should show up in your Control Panel, and when you run it, should have sections at the top. Goto the Control Panel tab, and you should be able to see everything on your control panel. Simply untick any items you don't want.

Thank you very much for that program, it worked. It was "rcman.cpl - Remote Center Control Panel Applet" when I checked that off it went away.
