controllable turret?

Can you create a turret that you can control? I have an idea, but I think it probably wouldn't work.

My idea is that you create a turret (however you want, as long as it swivels) and you weld something (small) in the air above it. Then you could grab the thing and move it around, bringing the turret with it.:sniper::sniper:

Does it sound like it works?

Of course this works. Why wouldnt it? People have been doing this since the turret tool was first added to gmod :dozey:

and why do you need to spawn other prop at all? Just spawn a turret, grab it with physgun and that's it!
