I don't believe in reviews. Why should i trust a random person to make a decision for me. That's retarded. I do my research on a game and make a decision based on what it has to offer, yes there is always risk but so far iv made very few mistakes. (****ing Pariah!)

As it stands, however, I'm pretty hyped about this game. Not sure whether to buy this or Red Faction 3 this month though. Whichever of those I don't buy, I'll grab second-hand a few months down the line.

I havent played infamous, but my two friends who have say that this looks like its going to be a lot better. They generally have decent taste in games so we'll see.

Infamous is good, but it suffers from growly voice syndrome and I hate it for it. Prototype's gameplay looks a lot more insane and over-the-top. Although it's gonna be hard to beat Red Faction Geurilla on those terms.

The main problem with this game for me is the inability to be a good character. That's what made Infamous interesting for me, being a hero, and having that not always be easy. I see no option to be anything other than a complete terror in Prototype, something that I think will lose it's appeal after a while.

I find it far more rewarding to be celebrated, and to see physical changes in the environment and emotional changes in the NPCs as a direct result of my actions. That's what separates Infamous vastly from Prototype, despite the comparisons. Infamous is (optionally) about saving people and regenerating a devastated city, Prototype is quite the opposite.

Violence and carnage are the only selling points for Prototype, and the developers seem to have made that their primary intent. I'm sure that's exactly what some people are excited about, but personally I find continuous, unjustifiable brutality on a scale this large slightly nauseating.

Yeah I can see what you're saying. Honestly watching footage of prototype I don't know if i am a hero, villain or even anti-hero

Also this game doesn't look interesting enough for me I think to get sequels for (It's activision you know they will do it).
