Cool little things about Half-Life 2 [some very minor spoilers]

Theres so much cool stuff in this game. Heres some little touchs i really liked:

1. The way the headcrabs run around on fire and still try to attack you.
2. Throwing bricks at zombies and killing them.
3. The crossbow
4. Painting zombies!
5. The water effects such as refraction and buoyancy.

What other little touchs do you love about HL2? Pictures welcome :dork:

1.when you push a NPC friend if their hurt they say "ow it hurts".
2.the wink alex gives.
3.Throwing bodies at other troopers with upgraded gravity gun.
4.Cooking aliens!
