I wasn't sure if this is the right place to post but seeing as it's related to games, I was wondering if people know of any really cool new interactive techdemos, preferably with a focus on physics or AI, rather than graphics.

Thanks for any helpful replies, I've scoured alot and played alot of older techdemos(from 2007 and earlier), so new ones are preferrable.

I was thinking more of an interactive techdemo, sorry I wasn't more clear, i.e. one that actually RUNS on your computer, i.e. an actual program.

There is the Valve Particle Benchmark Test they said they would release around the OB was coming out. They never released it but gave a copy of it to a hl2world.com member. He then most likely hosted it on torrents but I want it. :( Valve for some reason wont release it neither.

I think so. According to their site, euphoria is endorphin that can be made to play on gaming systems. Or something like that.

Heh heh, good old Endorphin. Many sadistic times were had...

i've been looking for some of these as well. one where you just click and a bunch of boxes falls on a ragdoll or something.

last one i played with was meqon something something.

For newer computers try crysis. Older PCs try far cry :P

The amazing thing about that one is that the filesize is so tiny. I have no idea how they got it that small with all those nice textures.

They are generated at run time through some fancy mathematics.
