Coolest Guitar

I hate Creed and don't really like Tremonti, but that is pretty much a sexy guitar.

Anything that Jimmy Page ever TOUCHED is cool with me.

How would you define a beautiful guitar?

I'm a complete guitar nooblet (hopefully getting one at the start of summer), a natural satin Pacifica with a black pickguard

this

looks nice to me, but I have no eye for guitar asthetics

I would give anything to get this one in my hands

I prefer it with the exact opposite colors though, white body and black stripes, but couldn't find a good picture of it
It may be a cliched metal guitar, but cool nonetheless. At least it doesn't have stupid flames on it or something equally awful

George Harrison's guitar when the beatles recorded the video for "All you need is love" Either that or any double-neck guitar Jimmy Page has ever used

Don't play guitar so I'll go with the coolest bass which is hands down Tony Levin's StingRay 5 Music Man. I use a Music Man SUB bass and thats damn good enough but as soon as OLP release the Tony Levin signiture StingRay 5 its mine.

The Music Man BONGO is a mighty fine bass, but its hard to play sitting down on your lap what with its shape n' all.

I dislike spikey guitars. I'm all for the rounded look...

BC Rich's also play horribly. I don't know why everyone bums out Kerry King's signiture model. Or for that matter, why they love BC's just because Kerry plays one.

I actually recently started playing guitar and was checking out some of the stuff on BC Rich. Apparently they're not very well made, though the sound isn't too bad. I'll stick with my Strat, I think. :)

Yea particularly the Bronze series Ive heard. My own Bronze Warlock doesnt work at the moment, but thats more the circuitry than the body and such. Strings are a bit high too, need to take it to a guitar shop sometime soon. Need higher gauge strings too...

Both les pauls and sgs are really good Sgs should be used for heavy stuff (angus young) and les pauls for really cool solo's (Slash) I prefer the Les paul look myself but i still love the sg

<Claps> Too true, sir, too true.

I quite like this one. Something really cool about it.
That said, I don't play guitar. One of my best friends is a guitar nut and has "guitar porn" - posters, calendars, presses his nose up against shop windows longingly.

have a gibson sg standard and i prefer it over les paul, esp its lightness and more of a warm / heavy tone.

How much effect does the shape of the body have on electric guitars?
And I have heard that pile of junk with strings on > B.C. Rich, is this true, from anyone with epxerience..

the shape can alter the way you play it whilst sitting down for example if you have a squire strat you can just plong it on your knee but if you have a flying v kina guitar you have to sit in different way with one point ontop of your leg and on inbetween both legs. and if its an accoustic it can alter the amplification that you get.

type of wood doesnt effect the sound electric guitars have, more or less the shape, but depends mostly on the strings, fret, and the pickups.
bc rich just sucks.. dont ask me why. lol
