Anyone know of any good ones? I was just playing Far Cry 2 and my gpu's temp was hitting 104 degrees celcius. My room started feeling like an oven even with the AC on and ceiling fan, its ridiculous. Plus I can hardly hear anything with the fan on at 100%. I definitely need some way to keep this thing cool, and keep my ears from being deaf.

good god, one reason I haven't been indulged to get a Radeon.

Yeah, its pretty ridiculous. I think im probably going to get a better case, which might help. But I cant find any coolers for the 4000 series cards.

Zalman has few coolers that work very well and fit that card. Or get one that spits the hot air out the back slot.

Thanks for the links. I ended up getting one from Arctic Cooling, the Acclero S1 Rev 2

Holy crapsauce, the difference is huge. For starters, my PC doesnt sound like a jet when I turn it on, which is awesome. Plus my idling temp is <40 degrees Celsius now. Thats around a 40 degree drop.

The thing was kind of a hassle to install though, but probably because I have never done one before. Totally worth it though. Now I can play games without turning my room into an oven!
