Wow, just wow. This isn't another lame "police brutality" video where you're missing 2/3 of the story. This cop has some serious problems. I'm having a hard time even watching this video.

I've had similar situations with police before, but not this bad. I recommend that you record everything you can when you get pulled over; check to see if your cellphone has audio-recording capabilities. It could save your ass from getting meaningless tickets, fines, charges, etc. If you see officers acting like this; don't be surprised if the LOCAL court's Judge acts like this too. Many cops think/know that they can get away with a lot of shit when they're dealing with younger people.

It's especially bad for me because I look like I'm 18, when I'm really 24.

What the **** is up with that clicking? I can't pay attention if that annoying clicking is going to keep going on.

Tell me what happens. that ****ing clicking forced me to stop at 3:30

I hope that video did some harm to the cop and taught him something that way.

Its a sad fact that this is how a lot of cops are. I might think about setting up some sort of audio recorder in my car too... pretty good idea.

What a shithead...

The cop DOES have the right to pull him over, but act like a ******* professional about it and explain that you are just surveying the area for car thieves instead of going on a power trip

lol. how many times did that idiot cop reply with "oh really" but then couldn't come up with anything good to say. He just tried to own the guy with some random quotes from a police handbook that he's probably carryin with him everywhere he goes.

Haha, he said that next time he turns into somewhere to "Use a turn signal" but the guy did when he turned into the lot.

would of LOVED for him to of said "i actually did you my turn signal"

Did nobody else hear that awful clicking? Nobody?

of course, but complaining isn't going to make it go away

I actually skipped most of the video because of it. I just hopped to random parts, listened for a few seconds and skipped ahead again.

DO YOU WANT TO TRY ME!? YOUNG BOY!?

Yeah the cop's a huge asshole but the guy was being a smartass. He could've avoided the whole thing just by kissing ass.

Wow that cop was way in the wrong. It sounds like he was frustrated at not being able to catch whoever was breaking into cars and was trying to coax the kid into admitting it or into a fight. There are cops out there who do stuff to try and coax people into running or fighting for the adrenaline rush.

Lol, I can't wait to see the aftermath of this. That cop was retarded.

He was getting mouthy, but goddamn, that cop was insane.

The cop reminds me of my lab instructor last month.

Poor krynn :(

ST. GEORGE — A car-mounted video camera — more commonly used by police than against them — captured a loud and threatening confrontation in this tiny St. Louis County community that left an officer on suspension and the whole world able to listen in.

The picture doesn't show much, but the audio part of the recording, posted on Google Video and YouTube on the Internet, brought more than 300 protest calls to St. George Police Chief Scott Uhrig.

"I was very displeased when I saw the actions on the video," Uhrig said. "My officers are not trained and taught to act like that."

He put Sgt. James Kuehnlein on unpaid suspension pending further investigation.

I'm seriously considering getting cameras installed in my car. I'm curious if I can get the recording from my most recent traffic-ticket court case, that was a joke.

...only in america

Really? Well here you go...

Just a week ago I saw on the news that a cop pulled over a dude apparently for speeding (although he wasn't). The cop went on "a power trip" as you call it, and when the guy tried to explain that he wasn't speeding the cop threatened to arrest him!
When he asked on what charge the cop said and I quote: "because you look like a sucker" :rolling:. All caught on tape of course...

The kid wasn't getting mouthy; the cop was just being a jerk and saying that.

people here were saying he was getting mouthy..i fail to see when he did that.

He gets mouthy you just can't hear it cause he's whispering it in the cops ear. What else you don't see is the fact that he fondled the cop's crotch as soon as he got out of the car. At least that's what the officer told me, he's my uncle.

I love how cops tend to forget that other human beings deserve respect and dignity.

Thats the problem with power. People have it long enough and some of them forget that there are rules for them as well as the people they are enforcing rules on.

They also think that they should punish people for doing something they don't like (e.g talking back), rather than for breaking the rules.

I've always advocated being polite to coppers, and that cops should be allowed to shout back if someones getting vocally aggresssive. However, if the person isn't raising thier voice, and isn't a threat, they have a duty to behave in a civil manor.

I'm curious what that cop would say if he was asked "Would you have behaved like that with a middle aged lawyer". Hell, I know what he would say, and he would be lying.

yey!

Up yours piggy!

But seriously, yey :)
