Hi, im working in xsi, and i have made a Robot leg, but only ONE leg. So i dont want to make the other one from scratch.

So i selected the leg (all parts) and went to Edit, and then Copy.

After that, i went to Edit and Paste.....but where is the copy? i cant see it! I tryed moving the orginal to see if it was "inside" it but it wasnt.

Im working in XSI btw.

u need to slect the leg go to the edit on the bottom right hand corner. it brings a box up click duplicate instiante or sumit the do duplicate or duplicate symetry.

If you didn't understand crackhead, you should select all the parts, go down to [edit] (bottom right), then click duplicate/instantiate (or whatever :p) and then duplicate symmetry. A box should pop-up but leave the default settings. Then you should have the new leg selected so use the move tool to move it out from the other leg.

Hope that does the trick :)

EDIT: Or more simply, you can select the leg you want to copy, then press D, a little green thing should appear as your cursor, and when you click, it duplicates it.
