Yeah, I do love anime to death, but cosplay is just plain freaking scary. It's called real life. You get away with it while watching anime, do you really have to LIVE it? Damn people.

Furries scare me as much.

I had to dress up as Hamlet for the aforementioned play I had to do for and English project. Since we were allowed to parody it, my costume was a trenchcoat (really heavy one) and a sword (which I used to kill Laertes). Overall the whole thing made me look like Ichigo in his Bankai + hat, took a couple pics, post'm later if I give enough of a sh17.

Im not an anime fan, so it just plain pisses me off when I see people dressed stupid like that. Especially since it usually makes the guys look like homos. It would be ok if most of the girls were hot, but usually they arnt.

Dressing up as an anime charachter is even worse than watching it. I tend to avoid peope who dress up as anime charachters, ie my ex girlfriend.

Cosplay can be good, cosplay can be bad. It all depends. I cosplay sometimes, might do it this year for Anime Expo. I'll admit it seems weird from the outside looking in, but if you're at a con and you see someone dressed up really convincingly as someone from a show, it's like, "Wow, that's pretty cool." Some people do amazing stuff.
