Some comments about the Valve/VU battle found on gamedev.net made me think.
People over there are suggesting that perhaps the game isn't even done yet and this is just another way for Valve to buy time without looking bad.
Most of us here agree that it would be an excellent finacial move for VU to release Half Life 2 before the holiday season. If they do sit on it, it will seem like suicide.
I understand that this seems unlikely, but some strange things have been happening during the development of Half Life 2.
