I have recently installed CSS, HL2DM, HL2, GMOD and all that stuff on my new pc. The specs-
Pentium 4 HT
1 GB RAM
Radeon X600 gfx card
3.0 Ghz Processor
It should handle it well right? Well, all source multiplayer games have this problem. I first noticed it with my bots in CSS, the move all studdery like. Like there is lag, but im playing offline with bots, so there CANT be lag. Then I realized when I walked into anything that was movable, it studdered really bad to. Then I put the view into thirdperson, and I was shaking/studdering whenever i moved just like the bots. Same thing in HL2DM, (whenever I pick up something with Grav Gun It studders/shakes whenever I move it around.) Also in MULTIPLAYER Gmod, it does the same thing. But not in any single player games. This is only happening with Source Engine games because I tried FEAR and it works fine on multiplayer..
So.. why is there lag-like happenings on my offline machine when my computer is defenitely powerful enough to handle these games?
