I bought a game called count strike source yesterday and it wont work on my computer even though my computer is compatiable its a error while extracting i am so sure that it is an error with my computer so i thought you could help here is a ss of the error message that comes up

Then if i click ignore anotehr box says enternal error then i click of it says intallationed failed because of fatal error please please help me.

Try cleaning the CD. If that doesn't work take it back to the store or just download it over steam.

Troof. I got mine over Steam, and it works wonderfully

Perhaps it's a scratched CD so see if you can exchange it. Buying and downloading the game through Steam is also a good way if you have high speed internet.

yeah my two old CS cds are fuxxored when i tryed to install it on my other pc so I just downloaded it from steam (for CS:S prepare for a long download)
