for my mod, the model animations will call for a couple of things that I have not yet figured out. I use 3D Studio Max 6 and I would like to know how to increase the distance between 2 bones, (scaling doesnt animate properly).
The second question is rather hard to explain. Basically what I'm trying to do is something like having a character aproaching a large object, grabbing it with his hands and trying to tug at it. The characters hands should stay put just where they are on the object, his feet too. But the torso of the model should heave back and his arms should flex as he tries to pull on it. I'm pretty sure it has to do with IK which is easy to do, but I need to know how I can turn it on and off when I want to so that I dont have to compensate for IK while animating the rest of the sequences. Thank you.
