Crane help.

Cant seem to get the new Crane entity to work; if there are any tuts, or if anyone can be of any help, i would <3 you.

Are you using prop_vehicle_crane? I think that's what you have to use. But, the world model doesnt show up in game for me. Anyone know what the script for it is?

Yea, i did that, the crane is in its own "crane" folder.

In game, it iwill show up as a purple box, as you get close with the camera in hammer it should pop up.

Make sure you hit apply after you select thw crane model.

In game it shows up as a purple box? You mean in hammer yes? In hammer it shows up fine(the model pops up when you get close). In game is when there isnt anything there.

ya i think i remember when you are kind of distant from things, they are just a purple box... i guess as the lod type thing. (this is in hammer im talking about), im pretty sure this is supposed to happen.

I'm not possitive, and I just closed Hammer, but there might be a crane in the sdk_vehicles map in you sourcesdk/sdkcontent/maps folder

check through the maps in that folder, as they are very usefull. I have to go out for abit, I'll try and get it for you when I get back if you haven't got it yet.

nah, thats just the buggy, i believe

the cranes a vehicle right....
if you can't get the crane to work, try the buggy, and then just do exactly the same. if that don't work, meh im stumped.
