Crash after loading on DoD

hello
recently my dod has been crashing (back to desktop, without any error message) when first loading up (after the valve symbol) it doesnt always do it, but it seems luck. i sometimes have to restart my computer 5 times before it works.
my system is easily good enough, and i have defragmetet the harddrive.

ok, ive verified my files now. but its still crashing. HELP PLZ i dont wanne spend half an hour whenever i wanne play DoD

You should still try setting the graphics a bit lower in terms of models, textures, etc. After that, does it still crash? If yes, does it take longer or is it the same?

its the same, and i doubt that changing graphic settings will change anything. because it crashes right after the valve video at the start, before i even get to the menu.
+ i still have >60 FPS at all times, and about 200 when playing something like 3xi_trainmap.
im playing with all options maxed, at 1280x960 HDR off (it only blurs y<our vision.)

can no one help me ? im getting really frustrated with this.
what i have found out is: when it hangs up, i need to verify the integrity of my files and then restart my pc, it then works. but this still takes ages. help plz, ive run evry virus scan i could find, and nothing is helping
