Crash In Game

i just got a geforce 256mb 5700 to fix the memory could not be read error for hl2 dm loading screen.
there havent really been any problems like this since i got it working bout 5 days ago.
But now about 5 mins into a game halflife 2 dm crashes with looping sounds really damn annoying.
if u know the solution please post it.

Does it do the same even if you turn your graphics detail settings down?
Does it give you any error messages?

What are the rest of your system specs?
