Craziest/Stupidest/Funniest BF2 moments

My best moment had to be trying to short-circuit a tank as my last resort...with my CPR shocker thingies...defibrillators...w/e

And also when, as a sniper, I went up into the crane tower and on my way up layed those explody traps. A guy tried to sneak up on me and he got blown off the crane!

My stupidest moment had to be trying to fly a MEC heli into the US aircraft boat hanger :dozey:
im sure it could be done by someone more skillfull than me though.

i actually spawned onto my squad leader who had done just that, he had the helo in there, took him forever to get it out though, but i spawned and i was like "holy shit!" and it was cool
 
Yeah, it's easier with the attack choppers, but it's a pain to pull a black hawk outa there.

i just jumped out of my chopper to parashoot and it ran me over in midair
 
I was flying the MI28 as MEC, and doing quite a bit of killing.

I saw an American looking boat in the ocean, checked the map, nothing there, no blue text over the boat either. Assumed it was American. Launched 6 rockets. Blue text appears. I'm kicked from server. :(
 
Yeah I hate that, especially when I have to double check the mini map and waste valuable time.
 
Planting a C4 on a low-flying (verrrrrry low) enemy plane and turning it into dust.

It is hard to avoid though, if they make the text appear to much it will be impossible to use stealth.
 
:D I kept tk'ing HecticGlenn earlier, and he called me a **** and made fun of my aim :( . But like a lot of the teammates kept tk'ing him too, that was fun. I love you Glenn!

Yeah... I did that... except, ironicly. The chopter exploded when it hit me, and I got a teamkill, I never knew my body was a weapon ;)

I just had a cool moment.

I jumped into the pool to cap the flag on the right side of the map, but one USMC guy saw me jump in. The next thing I hear is "grenade!" and see a nade land next to me, so I run to the other side of the pool avoiding it just as a 2nd nade lands next to me. I managed to avoid that and also his 3rd nade, then he looked over the edge of the pool and I machine-gunned him in the face.

Nice.
 
when I suicide crashed my chopper containing 4 men and me onto a boat with 4 men of my own team in it.
 
I just love going on teamkilling sprees. Like whenever I play, I only go on MEC so I can plant c4 on my choppers and when they take off, I wait till they get into a heated battle and they are really into it, then I just simply detonate and laugh as the yelling and screaming commences. Another thing I like to do is go on the rooftop and "push" snipers off when they least expect it, and also I don't get charged with a teamkill.

And of course there's nothing like a good old shoot-the-guy-who-got-to-the-plane-before-you maneuver. A little c4 sprinkled on the runway here and there, wait for a jet to take off, boom. Press L (team chat) ---> "OMFG SO SORRY I THOUUUT U WER A AMERIKAN MY BAAADD YO!!!". And my top favorite is doing an artillery strike to a friendly base, "O GOD SORRY GUYS I THOUGHT THE AMERICANS WERE DERE MY BAD YO!"

That pisses me off ;o. You're ruining a lot of people's fun and hurting the team, not cool.
 
You guys really have to start ignoring these people. There is nothing more satisfying for a troll to destroy a thread. Another one was closed already.

Exactly.

Recently I was flying a blackhawk with 3-4 other guys inside. I flew down the river towards the MEC base. I flew under the first bridge and proceeded to drop off the soldiers at construction. Next time I jumped into a blackhawk, there was already a pilot. He tried to go under the bridge like I did but blew everybody up...
 
I was a US sniper on the crane in the center of the map. I jumped off with the idea of parachuting down to the supply box that had just landed. As I'm falling, just before I deploy the parachute...one of the MEC planes flys into me. :(
 
Do you think that there should be a button that destroys any missiles that you fire so if it misses a target and is about to hit a friendly you can not get a tk? (In response to earlier posts)

Would be kinda silly that, if your gona shoot at something make sure you hit it and not anything else arround it thats all :) :p

They did this "the risc to hit friendly thing" to add to the challenge of shooting a enemy. .. so no.. just watch where you fire.. thats all
 
I threw some c4 onto a helicopter (server had TKing off), and watched as the pilot flew away. The enemy helicopter appeared and they started dueling, and got really really close to each other. So I set off the C4 and destroyed the enemy chopper.

I couldn't stop laughing afterwards. I have to say suicide runs are fun.
 
Best moment was when I was a USMC rifleman, I saw a helo coming at me full speed trying to suicide kill me. I whipped out the M203 launcher and fired it, the grenade hit the chopper right on the cockpit and the helo exploded very dramatically and the wreakage landed a few feet in front of me. I didnt move one inch the whole time. It was awesome, in fact, it was MrRedundant :E

Thats something I would have liked to see someone else do too, it would be like the movies where the big buff hero shoots down a helo and confidently stands his ground as the debris and wreakage flys past him and/or lands right in front of him
 
One other thing. I was running around as special forces, and saw a Cobra flying around, smoking heavily. I shot a couple rounds at it and moved on. Seconds later, it crashed into a tree. And I was creditted for the kill :P

One time when I spawned at the MEC main base I saw an enemy helo owning everyone there. Me being a spec ops ran below it and sure enough it lowered just enough to plant some C4...that ruined their owning spree real quick.
 
I planted some c4 on the flag under the crane and blew up 3 people trying to cap it.
god I love doing that. :smoking:
