Crazy crazy problems with graphics

Hello

Ive got a problem with running any 3d games. Ive got a FX 5900XT loaded with the drivers that came with BF2, (maybe not the latest... i think?). Anytime i start 3d games, the textures go crazy, and sometimes there is distortion everywhere, and the same happens in KOTOR2.

I tried searching for the answer, but in the end i turn to you guys. I've pretty much got no explanations, i can guess though. BIOS, drivers, etc, i really am confused. I reinstalled the graphics card from scratch, got nowhere though.

BTW: 2/3 way through 3Dmark03 it craps its self.

Anyway, any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Sounds like a heat issue. Do you have good air flow in your case, and is the fan on teh graphics card clear of any other PCI cards and also make sure the fan isn't clogged up with dust and is spinning as fast as it should do.

Yeah checked all that just then, the temp seems normal, ill have to see about the dust thing though. thanks heaps!

if it doesn't work, i think ill do a total format. im due for one anyway.
just hope its not borken, have to send it away and all that stuff. :hmph:

Exact same thing happened to me with my 6800 GT...turned out it overheated :dozey:

WOW sounds crazy! I had problems with KOTOR2 but ok now.
