Crazy Laser Magic

Wooooaaah how the douche did he do that?

It was a laser combined with fiber-optic tuves. The fiber-optics were supporting those objects. It appears the contraption he had also connects at both ends (notice that ring). Impressive and creative show; hardly "magic" though.

P.S. I wouldn't mind having one those things he had.

that doesn't really explain much.

My mind, it has been exploited. D:<

The "laser beam" has two elements . . .
[1] The physical fiber-optic cables.
[2] The light passing through the air (illuminating dust/smoke/steam).

To "bend light" all you have to do is bend the fiber-optic cable. The laser will leave at whatever angle the end points. Hanging stuff on the "laser beam" is done by placing the item over the fiber-optic section of the device. After the coat-hanger trick, he grabs the device (actually two of them) and has his fun. The lasers snapping together could be done with magnets.

It should be obvious how he does this when he connects the two devices end-to-end creating a loop.
