Crazy mouse acceleration in pc version?

Has anyone else noticed this?

I picked up Bioshock in the sale - had it on the 360 before - and am finding the mouse almost impossible to control with any precision. At sensitivity 1 the crosshair still zooms around like there's mouse acceleration (which is the devil) applied.

Playing it with a 360 pad is fine - but that kind of defeats the point in buying for the pc!

I did. I turned acceleration off and the mouse settings down almost all the way (in the Windows control panel), and it worked fine.

Yeah, I had to turn my mouse sensitivity down to 2.

Yep, noticed it too. I lowered sensitivity down to 2 and now it works OK. Sometimes it still goes crazy though, usually when I lift the mouse off the pad to move it. Never had this happen with another game, so it's definitely Bioshock being weird here.

don't have the game...but I thought they patched this?
