Crazy ping for ne reason

is ne one else out there gettin wierd latency for all servers? I usual get about 44-60 ping but lately i wont be able to find a server with less than 100 latency and its reall pissin me the hell off! And i know its not my connection because i use the internet just fine and i cna play other games online fine too its just css that goes crazy and most of the time i can play without lag at all but it still says my ping is like 185 or somethin NE IDEAS?

Well, to us 56kers u should consider urself lucky u still get a ping under 200, but all i can say man, blame the new update, its doing this to many many people. Even people who say they didnt have a change have a little drop in something. But if its any help, scan for spyware perhaps? Go to internet options and delete all files and cookies also?

I have that problem too, but here it is my internet connection... I live in the netherlands and have "Zon breedband family" (1024/320) (Zon changed its name to Versatel btw). It sucks. Normal ping 40-60 but most of the time 150-180. Ergh.

u do no that ping varies where the server is right mabye u are joining servers that are out of the country

make sure to set your rat e in the Source settings menu...
(right click on icon > settings > internet)
