Crazy Trojan - Please Help

hi, i've got some kind of trojan i think but my virus detectors don't pick it up. It crashes internet explorer and msn and i think is related to a second svchost.exe in the taskmanager. when i close this ie springs into life as does msn but then i get a window with a 60 second shutdown countdown. 60seconds later...you guessed it...my pc shutsdown. HELP

I have 5 svchost.exe's in my Task Manager, If I close them down it crashes like msblaster would crash your computer, but it doesn't seem to do anything to me, so I dunno.

Yeah I'v got 4 svchosts going, but 1 could be a virus with the same name. Have u tried starting in safe mode? do a hard drive search for svchost.exe you should probably only get 1. (havent tried this). get a different Virus Scanner (a free 1) to check. Dunno what else to do.

I have none, but my internet is fuxed. My homepage is always magicsearch.ws, no mattter what I do.
It's spyware but neiher AdAware nor SpyBot Search and Destroy can do anything.

doesnt sound like a trojan to me, just sounds like ure computers f****d. Try typing msconfig into the run thing and close down any unneeded svchosts or anything else that u think shouldnt be there

svchost.exe is a part of Windows that handles .dll files. It's not uncommon to have five or more running at once.
