Create a mod queries

Hello, sorry to disturb you this fine day, but I was wondering how the create a mod layout worked. where do created maps, created textures, created noises and music go. Do they need a specific annotation (dm_ or cs_) to work, and how can I change it? I cant find this info anywhere. What file would I need to change to make the mod load my levels rather than HL2.

Press the "create a mod" button - it'll create two directories - the one with all the source and reference material, and the one that goes in your steam folder. The one in your steam folder is where all textures and sounds go.
