Hi guys!

Basically I have a few buildings and a custom greenscreen texture at the bottom, the plan is to key out the green and slap a road in, then the vehicles on the road can be animated easily.

The problem is the light bounces off the green texture and the bottom of the buildings look greenish. I'm hoping there's a command for the VMT that stops light interacting with the texture, but I can't find one so far.

Can anyone suggest a solution please? :)

Shit, I know exactly what you mean but I can't remember the command. I'll find it.

EDIT: Have you tried unlitgeneric?

Not tried that, but I will, thanks for the quick reply :)

Do I just slap it in the VMT file like so?

"LightmappedGeneric"
{
"$basetexture" "greenscreen"
unlitgeneric
}

I think you replace "Lightmappedgeneric" with it. I'm not too mucn into special VMT properties :p

Hehe me neither, thanks, I shall give it a go :)

EDIT:

Thanks mate, that worked like a charm, even removed the shadows from the greenscreen itself, you're awesome :)
