creating mod listen servers

hey, sorry if this is somewhere obvious. did a search, nothing came up that would help me

i'm trying to create a listen server of JBMod so that me and my friend can do some of that funky welding stuff.

the problem is we can't seem to connect to eachother (both tried to create a server)

can someone give me some direct instructions on how?
