Creative ALchemy 1.10.01

I came across this and noticed that it came out a few days ago. It's not something I need because I use Windows XP, but I thought I would put it here in case any of you weren't aware.


This download is an application for Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi and Sound Blaster Audigy series of audio devices. It restores 3D audio and EAX effects for certain DirectSound3D games in Microsoft Windows Vista. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

ya this has been known about for a year now. they just recently released it for free though instead of charging 10 bucks.

oh I see.

I was browsing for something else when I clicked it to read about it, and I noticed the upload date was 5-17-08 which was a few days ago, so .. OK then.

Hm... maybe I'll check this out. Glad I didn't shell out the 10 bucks for it last year.
