I'm looking to buy a new MP3 player. My old one is only 1GB which is'nt enough and also the sound is crap. Been checking up Zen 6GB and Ipod Nano 2-4 GB. I a new mp3 player with the best possible sound.

Any ideas ?

Creative Zen Micro Photo. Although, my non-photo version is broken. Need to send it in.

I've had my 20GB iPod for three years now, and not a single problem so far, even though I'm pretty rough with my technology. The headphones that come with it are rather bad, but once you get decent headphones the music quality is really nice. Don't buy the nano, you pay a ridiculous amount of money for the small size. Get the new vidoe ones, pay a little extra for a second harddrive that can play vidoes with suprizingly good quality.

the zen micro has better EQ because it can be custom unlike the ipod but there shouldnt be a huge sound difference either it all depends on the quality of the song

personally i would go with zen micro 6gb or just go and buy a 4th gen 20gb ipod

There is this Creative Zen Sleek 20GB that only costs like 50 bucks more .D

EDIT: Whats the difference between Creative Zen Micro 6GB, Creative Zen Jukebox 20GB and Creative Zen Sleek 20GB... it's basicly the same price on all three :O

Go with IRiver H10. Nice Quality, Text and Picture Viewing, Radio, Recorder, Radio Recorder, Most EQ options ever, Custom EQ, SRS WoW, Have a Linux or Mac? Works with them to. Theres 5/6/20gig versions. You can get them lower than $200 if you look hard(I got mine for $200 at target). Looks Good aswell.

There are 2 different ones out their. A MTP one and a UMS one. The MTP one requires you to use Windows Media Player for song transfer, UMS one you can either use Irivers own Iriver Plus or do it manually(my preference). If you buy a MTP version it will come with Windows Media Player but you can easily convert it to UMS.
MTP versions can be put in a slower UMS "Emergency" Mode.

But SRS WoW just kicks ass. Custom EQ and comes with about 12-14 EQ options to choose from.

Nah that player is so expensive here in sweden and its ugly as hell ;D

Creative, because it's probably cheaper than the iPod, but still has more space.

Nobody's going to see it anyway, it'll be in your pocket.

Creative, my friend dropped his ipod nano on the ground and it shattered into a million pieces, showing the flimsiness of the thing. Also the creative is probably cheaper like stardog said

hope you dont mind seeing it gone for a few months

I dont exactly like the nano since it is too small. Creative would probably teh best choice here. Although I do like the normal sized Ipods. ;)

I call BS.
I've seen video of nanos being dropped, tossed, run over with cars, and still function (well by the end of the stress the screen was worthless but it played music).

I recommend the nano. It's really small and really cool and iPods rock (I have a video)

Yeeess. Ipods 'rock'.

Although yeah, that stress test of the nano was hardcore.
