I've been having a bit of bad luck with my Zen lately. It seems like half the movies I get online won't go on the Zen and for some reason the explorer won't convert them. Has anyone else had these issues?

What format you need for Zen?

I'm using ImTOO video converter to put films/vids on my new fone... it works great - quick encoding, small file sizes, and completely configurable bitrates/aspects/codecs/etc.

I'm trying to get them in either avi or divx format. I'm gonna try the divx converter and see how that works. BTW, Qonfused, are there any alternatives to using the media explorer for putting audio and video files on the player? I lost the cd and I wanted to format my system, but I don't want to lose the program.

You can use Windows Media Player you sync them on. If you don't want to use that, I can just upload the program somewhere for you.

The Divx converter is really nice, btw. Like I said, you can just throw like 10 movies in there and it'll convert them overnight.

Well, using the divx converter worked really well. But I have just one more problem: The audio on one of the movies I converted is really low on the player. I wonder if you know how to boost audio in the Zen or if you can modify the file to have a higher audio range.

I get this too and it's just the file's audio level; it has nothing do to with the Zen player.

Is there any to change the file's audio level? I've looked around on Google and can't seem to find anything.

Not that I know of. If you find something, let me know.
