Creepy ghost video..

Yeah... No matter how much I believe in my religion (spirituality), stuff like this still scares me.
 
What's scary about that? I'm usually scared of the corniest scary movies, but that didn't scare me at all.

Im a coward then ;( No but the video didint scare me at first(i was kinda confused what was going on). It was after reading the story and read some more about the place it got freaky :p

That scared me, I also looked at the images for that, and for a breif moment the lantern dissapears

in the beginning the light seems to be away [lower] than the lamp, kind of weird :s

I'm just curious. Do you guys who are scared and think this might be real... practicers of any form of religion? Because to me, ghosts are of a religious origin.

well ghosts/spirits don't have any base in religion (by the way im not religious.....) and even if this is fake (which was my first impulse) it's still scary, reading the whole story really builds the tention. The fact of the matter is that something dosn't have to be real to be frightning

Are you talking about the height of the first video's ghost?

It was so high up, because the guy was leaning out of the doorway. Notice how it only extends outwards in the upper corner of it.

Ghosts are believed to be troubled departed souls in all the circles I know of(what, you think its something scientific <laughs>... and you non religious people don't believe in souls.

I don't believe in ghosts, as much as I do demons. Some of the scariest shit i've ever read and heard about have been Oujia board scenarios.

Because from my understanding, spirituality and spirits(ghosts) do not exist in the athiest world.
 
I was just confused when I first saw it. I didn't even notice the ghost, just them freaking out and running down the stairs.

Second time I watched it, I noticed the ghost, but it wasn't scary.
 
Well, I don't believe in ghosts by their definition. However, I can accept the possibility that anomalies can occur for varying reasons. God knows where all that energy goes when you die.

Purely physics.

But seriously, what the hell is a ghost doing in a freakin' closet? You'd think you'd haunt more interesting places, and doing more interesting things than peek-a-boo from a fücking closet.

Well, I won't pretend to have any certainty on this, but there have been cases of inanimate objects moving completely on their own and without the aid of any apparent external factors.

Now, if energy can't be destroyed, then where does it go? It transfers to other things. I don't find it unlikely that energy anomalies can take place should their be an excessive presence of energy. The result? Unexplained movement, perhaps a change in temperature... God knows, maybe an apparition of some sort that is percieved to be a ghost?

TBH, my knowledge of the Laws of Thermodynamics has become pretty rusty and I'm probably not explaining the idea properly.

Is it fake? Most likely, not certainly. Has this been pointed out already? Several times. Could we have discovered this on our own by simply watching the video? Most certainly. Does it even matter? Unlikely.
