So the Crim Festival of Races starts this Saturday and I'm pretty excited. I'll be running my first ten-mile race! I'm sure most of the Americans know about the Crim, but for all of you in other countries, it's a festival that is held every year in Flint, MI with many different road races ranging from little kid's mile-long walk to the ten-mile run/walk. Actually, the name is pretty self-explanatory. Is anyone else planning on participating, or if it's too far away, are there any races that you are looking forward too?

Good luck mate. I die after 400m, let alone 10 miles.

Didn't know about it.

Good luck dude! Run Forrest, Run!

If I was down near Flint, I'd have to say hello!

I live in Houghton Lake. If you've heard of Tip Up Town, that's Houghton Lake.

That's cool. I live in Linden. We actually won the cross country state championship last year.

Sorry for the double post.

I just got back from the race, and it was awesome! My time was 1:39:50. That means I ran ten-minute miles on average! Also, the spectators were probably the best part. One guy sang karaoke to the people running by his house, and another guy handed out beers!

So have you ever done anything that athletic?

Never. I have always sat and wallowed in pounds upon pounds of blubber encasing my very being throughout my whole nihilistic existence.

Festival of Races? I'll bet the Kenyans usually win these.

Oh ya, I forgot about the bi-gender Jamaicans.
