Crosshair change after newest Valve update?

My crosshair no longer has the side brackets.

What gives?

Hard as hell to see five little single pixel dots...

I can't find it at options anymore either. The console command hud_quickinfo 1 seems to work though. o_o

Ya, but that shows all the extra info I don't care about.

It is more of an annoyance than the missing bars, IMO.

So seems like the fix is to mod my crosshairs or something?

Typical Valve... ugh
