CS and fps

Hmm, I am wondering how many fps I will get with a sapphire 9600XT 128mb on CS 1.6..
with my old Nvidia Geforce4 MX420 64mb i got from 30-60...so I was wondering how many i could get for the new card.

i dont know about CS but it got very respectable rates in far cry at high details ...you shouldnt have to worry, your 9600xt is good enough for HL2 ...so therefore it's good enough for CS:S

He's talking about CS 1.6 not CS:S. I'd imagine you'd be able to run it just fine.
My GF4 Ti 4200 gives me a constant 100 fps @ 1024x768.

yes I know ...I was alluding to the fact that if CS:S will run fine on a 9600xt so will cs 1.6
